Download movie rabid animal. Have you seen “I Drink Your Blood”? Its on Shudder. its an interesting, fun lil grind house type of film about Rabies. Its an older film, very low-budget. I had a lot of fun with it, but I enjoy older-cheesy grind house films. Its not a great, or even a well made film. its very dated, but I thought it was good. Dont want to spoil the plot here just in case anyone wants to watch it. I havent seen this movie, but I dont think Im in any big hurry to watch it. Lol.

The similarity ends there. Marilyn Chambers - the woman who occupies the dreams and fantasies of millions - seemingly recovers from this accident only to develop an appetite for blood. Rabid is a modern, urban vampire film, and who better to direct it than Cronenberg. In the hands of another, this film would be horrifically mediocre. The lonely country lane, the frozen body, the subway attack, the Santa shooting in the mall and the dark movie theatre - Cronenberg knows how to imbue a sense of emptiness and despair into each scene. The film is full of pathos and 70's paranoia. Fear of woman (especially such a sexual one - Eve and such like) fear of government and fear of those around us - Cronenberg feeds off such hysteria, just as Chambers feeds off her victims. The underarm worm is quite clearly a female penis. I don't mean to make Rabid sound grand or profound. It isn't really. It's just Outbreak meets Vampire Circus. I do think, however, that Cronenberg always seeks to challenge Western values and boundaries by using hidden evils, distortions and deformed humanity. He further explores the topic of man fighting mutations from within or trying to change human nature. it's a topic that he returns to from time to time. Cronenberg is a true innovator of horror, having directed more than a few genuine classics; the Soska Sisters, or 'Twisted Twins' as they like to market themselves) have one decent film to their name(s. Clumsy direction, gimmicky editing, an overlong running time, obnoxious characters, a ham-fisted tribute to Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, and weak make-up effects all contribute to a hellish viewing experience, but what made this film really unbearable for me were the fashionistas and the models, all of whom could have come straight out of cult comedy Zoolander (or worse still, Zoolander 2. If I thought for a minute that the Soskas were going for giggles, then I would probably think better of the film, but I don't think this is the case: any laughs seem to be purely unintentional. Günter is an embarrassingly bad caricature. Will Ferrell's Mugatu is positively normal by comparison. and the scene where Rose slashes at a dress with scissors to realise her boss's vision would be genius if this were a satire. But it's not.
I honestly think that the Soska's believe their own hype, but as the film descends into asinine zombie territory, it becomes clearer and clearer that the twins have bitten off way more than they can chew. The final scene, in which Rose discovers the true horror of her condition, is let down by more terrible make-up effects and the directors' misguided belief that they have crafted a truly shocking movie. The only thing that is shocking about this film is that it got made in the first place.
